Center for Research and Education in Hospitality Leadership

The DePaul Center for Research and Education in Hospitality Leadership serves industry leaders, owners and other practitioners through applied research and education on critical issues in the national and international hospitality industry. Drawing on the expertise of Driehaus College of Business faculty, the center engages in timely research and offers an array of professional development workshops and ongoing consultation services to hospitality managers and entrepreneurs.

Journal of Hospitality & Tourism Research

The Journal of Hospitality & Tourism Research(JHTR) is peer-reviewed via a blind process and is published eight times per year. JTHR publishes original research, both conceptual and empirical, that clearly enhances the theoretical development of the hospitality and tourism field. The submission process is highly competitive. The most recent acceptance rate is about 3 percent of the articles submitted, and the journal’s five-year impact factor is 2.646, making it one of the top hospitality and tourism academic research publications in the field.

The Center for Research and Education in Hospitality Leadership currently houses JTHR as part of the school's membership with the International Council on Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Education.
