Graduate Programs

Students who enroll in the DePaul University's Kellstadt Graduate School of Business have a choice of three graduate business degrees in hospitality leadership:

Master of Business Administration (MBA): Hospitality Leadership Concentration

DePaul University's MBA program requires 72 credit hours, of which 36 credit hours form business core courses that are required of all graduate students. The remaining 36 credit hours may be fulfilled by completing one concentration or two concentrations depending upon the number of courses within each concentration. The hospitality concentration is 16 credit hours, so it is possible for a student to complete two concentrations prior to graduation.

Master of Science (MS) in Data Science: Hospitality Concentration
Jarvis College of Computing and Digital Media

The MS in Data Science: Hospitality Concentration requires 52-64 credit hours and is offered in collaboration with the School of Hospitality Leadership and the Jarvis College of Computing and Digital Media. The program is designed to satisfy an emerging market niche in the discipline of revenue management for current undergraduate, graduate students and hospitality industry professionals.

This program addresses the increasing demand of data scientists that combine the computational skills to extract information from massive amounts of data with the competency in hospitality revenue analytics and optimization. The focus of this concentration is to teach students the analytics needs and challenges of the hospitality and tourism industry. Course offerings are designed to incorporate data base design and analysis, knowledge discovery technologies, neural networks and machine learning, yield management and hospitality distribution channels.
