Biography

Peter Westin is an instructor in the Department of Economics and Department of Finance & Real Estate in the Driehaus College of Business. Westin is founder and president of Stratonomics where he consults on formulating investment case and strategies for emerging and frontier market funds and develops a proprietary equity research model for emerging markets.  

Westin has almost 20 years of experience in equity research. He is the editor and co-author of two books on Russia and was an economic adviser to the Russian and Swedish governments. 

Westin teaches Money and Banking (ECO 315, FIN 320) and International Finance (FIN 340).
