Applying for internships and jobs can give any college student the goosebumps. Taking the fear out of finding a career was the goal of the Second Annual Marketing Careers Tricks and Treats event at the Driehaus College of Business Oct. 28.
Costumed faculty, staff, alumni and students from the Department of Marketing offered dozens of DePaul students guidance on “resurrecting your résumé,” “non-scary networking” and “elevator pitch madness” during the Halloween-themed career event organized by Jessica Sanborn (BUS ’17 , CMN MA’ 19), the department’s internship coordinator and associate director of communication. Games – including bean bag toss and giant Jenga – added stress-relieving fun to the activities.
