Alumni, friends and members of the business community each play a vital role in our year-round
events and programs, which allow our students to thrive as they pursue careers in the risk management field. Browse the following opportunities for ways to get involved.
Speaker series, competitions and mentor programs are critical parts of the learning experience for actuarial science students.
Speakers are invited to present at events and specialized speaker forums, in classes and other program functions. Judges serve a vital educational role in competitions assessing students' work and providing valuable feedback. Industry mentors work with a select group of students for an academic year based on their career aspirations in the risk management field. Mentors are expected to spend two to three hours a month interacting with their students and attend two on-campus events.
The Executive-in-Residence series provides an opportunity for students to talk one-on-one for 15 minutes with seasoned executives who work in the risk management field. The quarterly series also gives professionals a venue to meet prospective hires.
The Arditti Center's
Advisory Board consists of senior industry leaders and alumni who provide valuable guidance and support the center’s programs. At DePaul, the center is a leading partner in the Department of Finance & Real Estate’s regularly organized networking events.
