Purpose Pitch Competition

The annual Purpose Pitch Competition challenges student and alumni entrepreneurs to pitch their greater purpose and how they plan to fulfill that purpose through their business objective, instead of pitching investors on the business itself.

David Kalt (MS ’95) Wins 1871 Momentum Award

DePaul alumnus David Kalt, who served as a keynote speaker at the 2018 Global Consortium of Entrepreneurship Center Conference, was recently awarded the Momentum Award during 1871's annual fundraiser. The award recognizes companies that are on track to become the next great companies to emerge in Chicago. Kalt is founder and CEO of Reverb.com, an online marketplace for musicians to buy and sell instruments.

    DePaul Entrepreneurship Program Jumps in Princeton Review National Rankings

    DePaul's undergraduate entrepreneurship program moved up nine places to rank No. 13 in the “Top Schools for Entrepreneurship” survey — the biggest year-over-year rankings jump among undergraduate programs listed as the best in the nation for 2019. Read more.
