Student Organizations

Student o​rganizations provide an opportunity for you to connect with other students, meet professionals in practice, and become active in the campus community. Visit DeHub to learn more about the accounting groups and visit Handshake for career and networking events.

  • Accounting Club provides opportunities for students to advance their presentation for a career in accounting. The club is known for its professional events for networking with accounting firms and corporations in and around Chicago.

  • ASCEND is the premier student organization for pan-Asian leaders in finance and accounting. The DePaul student chapter is closely involved with other affinity groups around Chicago.

  • Beta Alpha Psi (BAP) is a national scholastic and professional society for accounting and finance students. BAP encourages and gives recognition to academic and professional excellence in business.

  • Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) helps to develop the future leaders in internal audit, IT audit, and fraud examination while providing members with career development opportunities.

  • Graduate Students for Accounting (GSA) strives to increase the recognition and development of students in accounting master’s programs. GSA addresses the needs of graduate students both in academic excellence and career development.

  • Midwest Association of Hispanic Accountants (MAHA) is dedicated to increasing awareness and sharing of business information among business and CDM students. MAHA encompasses academic, professional and community development.

  • National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) addresses the professional needs of its members and builds leaders that shape the future of the accounting, finance and other business professions with a commitment to inspire the same in its successors.
