The Driehaus College of Business recently appointed Anthony LoSasso as Chair of the Economics Department effective July 1, 2022.

LoSasso, a Double Demon, is a nationally recognized health economist. His research spans several dimensions of health and labor economics, health policy, and health services research. LoSasso leads the MBA concentration in Healthcare Markets & Analytics and hosts the Health Economics Speaker series.

"As a first-generation college student and DePaul alum from this very department, this is a particularly special moment for me. I know what DePaul meant to me, and how life-changing the experience was. It’s thrilling to be able to shape this experience for the next generation of economics students at DePaul!"

LoSasso will succeed Anthony Krautmann, who is stepping down at the end of the academic year after a six-year tenure as chair.
