What is your undergraduate degree?

A bachelor of arts in economics with a minor in math from the University of Iowa.

What do you enjoy doing outside of school?

I like to read, listen to music and build 1000+-piece puzzles.

Why did you choose the Master of Science in Economics & Policy Analysis program?

I chose  it because it gives you the data analysis skills to come up with effective conclusions. It is a smaller program, which makes it more personal and engaging.

What job do you hope to get after graduation?

After graduation, I want to work as a data analyst, analyzing historical and current data. I want to explore trends, inequalities and imperfections that exist in the data and formulate conclusions to make recommendations that will benefit the global community.

Is there a field in economics that you are most interested in? 

I'm most interested in behavioral economics and analyzing decisions. I enjoy learning about the psychological process and biases that drive a person to make decisions.
