This new MBA concentration focuses on how managers analyze and use health data to make managerial decisions. The MBA concentration is based on decision-making algorithms applying data to economic models that emphasize incentives that all the players in the health care system face.
The goal of this concentration is to provide students with a deep dive into the healthcare sector that enables students to become players in this extraordinary industry which accounts for over one-fifth of the U.S. economy. The concentration complements the general training students receive in the other business disciplines, but will be focused on the defined area of economics in the healthcare industry.
