Through our Healthcare Markets and Analytics MBA concentration, you’ll become prepared to analyze and use health data to make managerial decisions.
Our MBA in healthcare management program teaches you to use decision-making algorithms that apply data to economic models. Your courses will focus on economics within the health care sector — an industry that accounts for more than one-fifth of the U.S. economy.
In this program, you’ll learn
- How the health care sector is similar to, and different from, the rest of the economy
- How the behavior of the health care sector adheres to and deviates from key economic principles
- The crucial and ever-increasing role of data in guiding the decision-making process of policymakers in the health care industry
All courses for this program are offered in the evening on the Loop Campus. The program can be completed in two years.

Professor and Driehaus Fellow
Anthony LoSasso has studied healthcare systems for 25 years and brings his expertise into the classroom. His research focuses on the economics of healthcare and health insurance, as well as how government policies affect private sector decisions. LoSasso is a first-generation college student and a Double Demon. “DePaul was exactly the right educational experience for me,” he said. “My own experience helps me relate to my students.”
