Internships are an important step to full-time employment and a successful career. Each year, we work with hundreds of area employers to help place qualified, marketing interns.

For Companies:
If you are a company and are looking for an intern, please fill out our Hiring Packet and contact Jess Sanborn ( for more information.

For Students:
The MKT 393 course counts as your JYEL (Junior Year Experiential Learning) Requirement and/or a Marketing Elective. It is also required of all IME Honors Marketing students.

Graduate Students who are interested in receiving credit for an internship can sign up for the MKT 793 course. Please follow the same instructions as MKT 393 below.

Step 1: Obtain a Marketing Internship

Step 2: Apply for Internship Approval

Step 3: Enroll in MKT 393 or MKT 793

  • Contact Jess Sanborn ( to confirm all of your paperwork has been received.
  • Add MKT 393 or MKT 793 (graduate students) to your course cart and await further instructions from the Internship office.
