The nationally ranked Master of Science (MS) in accountancy is intended for students who do not have an undergraduate accountancy degree. Through the program’s challenging integrated sequence of
courses, students become proficient in topics that are relevant to the work of
a professional accountant. Students meet the educational requirements to sit
for, and to successfully pass, the CPA examination. Students also gain a solid
understanding of other business disciplines and their relationship to
accounting issues. The program’s full-time faculty includes nationally and
internationally known authors, scholars and researchers.

Graduates achieve some of the highest internship
and job placement opportunities during, and immediately following, degree
completion. More than 91 percent of
students are in an accounting, tax or audit-related career track at the time of
graduation. Graduates have gone on to work at major accounting firms such as
KPMG, Deloitte, PwC, EY, Grant Thornton and RSM; as well as in industry, corporate
accounting, non-profit accounting and government positions.
