The Master of Science (MS) in Human Resources degree provides a real-world education that will prepare you to manage the modern organizational workforce. You will develop skills necessary to succeed in areas of human resources that include benefits, compensation, labor relations, recruitment and workforce training programs.
You'll learn from faculty members who have won numerous teaching awards and bring many years of management experience into the classroom, which will help you see the connection between theory and practice. Industry guest speakers, business cases, simulations and internships will enhance your practical understanding of the HR field. The program leverages DePaul's wide-ranging network of alumni and HR business leaders to create opportunities for students to engage in professional development activities and community outreach via service learning. The program also
is aligned with the curriculum standards set by the Society for Human Resource
Management (SHRM), the most influential human resources association.

The MS in Human Resources will prepare you for career paths that include compensation and benefits consultant, HR analyst, recruiter and labor relations director. Alumni work at organizations that include Aon, Hewitt, Aramark, Baxter, Boeing, CarMax, Hays Companies, Huron Consulting Group, JLL and National Institutes of Health.
