Take your audit & accounting career to the next level

If you have an undergraduate degree in accounting and want to take your career to the next level, the master's in Audit and Advisory Services is for you. 

In this program, you'll complete the additional credits needed to qualify for the CPA exam – and earn your graduate degree in the process. You’ll gain practical, advanced auditing skills to excel in a career in a public accounting firm or corporate internal audit department.

Learn from award-winning faculty

Matthew Stern, Assistant Professor of Accountancy, received the DePaul University Excellence in Teaching award and Constantine "Gus" Economos Distinguished Teaching Award in 2023.  He teaches data mining and analytics in the MSAA program.  His current research interests including the use of machine learning and artificial intelligence in accounting.

In addition to the wider group of Kellstadt alumni, the School of Accountancy & MIS alumni network reaches to the top ranks of corporations, public accounting firms, education and government. The alumni society, Ledger & Quill, is one of the largest accounting alumni groups in the nation.

Scholarships

Graduate school is an investment in your future, and Kellstadt awarded more than $3 million to incoming students last year.

The giving society of the School of Accountancy & MIS gives approximately $25k annually to students pursuing their master’s in Accountancy, Taxation, or Audit and Advisory Services.

Additionally, DePaul and the Deloitte Foundation provide a limited number of full scholarships to MSAA students each year. And through a collaboration with the KPMG Master of Accounting with Data and Analytics (MADA) program, scholarships funded by KPMG are available to MSAA program students.
